A friend recommended this one, but I was warned that it was a sad novel. I had put off reading it for a little while until I was in the mood for a more serious and sad drama. The book brings up interesting ethical and moral issues as it is about a girl who is trying to get medical emancipation from her parents. She was born in order to be a donor for her sick and dying sister as a perfect genetic match. Each chapter of the book is written from the perspective of the different main characters, which I thought was an effective format.
