Kentucky Christmas (2 albums)
December 27th, 2006 -- December 30th, 2006
Gabe and I drove from Atlanta to Kentucky for our next Christmas adventures. We were surprised that it took us less than 6 hours to drive...not too shabby! We exchanged presents with his parents, Jess, Sterling, and April shortly after our arrival. We spent time with everyone again on Thursday along with Heidi and Dylan (more presents!). Friday, we all went to several different sports bars to have lunch, watch UK football, and play trivia and PhotoHunt.
Atlanta Christmas (2 albums)
December 24th, 2006 -- December 26th, 2006
We spent a few days at my grandparents house in Atlanta for Christmas. Our schedule was a little different than we had originally planned since I was sick just before we were supposed to leave. The Bursons joined us on Christmas Day for dinner, presents, and "music."

December 16th, 2006 -- December 17th, 2006
Gabe and I decided that we wanted to go to the Barenaked Ladies concert in Charlotte on Sunday, December 17th. We decided to make a weekend out of it and visit with my parents in Davidson. This turned out to be a great idea as we were able to exchange presents with my parents (which made it much easier to pack the car for our Christmas tour of visiting both families!). We also visited a train layout on Saturday in some guy's garage and had some very competitive Scrabble matches!

December 15th, 2006
Since we knew we weren't going to be able to see Kristin and Chad around Christmas, we had them come over to our place to exchange presents and play the Wii!
Thanksgiving (3 albums)
November 22nd, 2006 -- November 26th, 2006
We flew directly from our honeymoon in New York City to Kentucky so that we could spend Thanksgiving with Gabe's family. We went to the Caesar's Indiana casino, had a nice Thanksgiving dinner, and played the Wii quite a bit.
Weekend in Atlanta (2 albums)
July 8th, 2006 -- July 9th, 2006
Gabe and I visited my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins this weekend in Atlanta along with my parents. We also went to the Braves/Reds game on Sunday before heading back to NC.
July 4th Weekend (3 albums)
July 1st, 2006 -- July 4th, 2006
Gabe's cousin and her kids came to visit us this weekend. We had a great time spending time with Jessica, Sterling, and April! It was nice to have company for the extended holiday weekend.
Heidi and Tom's Wedding (3 albums)
June 15th, 2006 -- June 18th, 2006
Gabe and I took a quick trip to Kentucky this weekend to attend his sister's wedding. It was a hectic weekend, but we were glad that we could be there for Heidi and Tom's big day! It was nice to spend some time with family, but the visit was too short!
Davidson Picnic (33 photos)
June 3rd, 2006
Gabe and I went to Davidson to visit my parents and attend their neighborhood picnic. Dad asked me to serve as the picnic photographer, so I got some practice with my Rebel XT!
Visiting Charlottesville (3 albums)
May 5th, 2006 -- May 6th, 2006
Gabe's parents were passing through Virginia on Friday night, so Gabe and I went to visit with them on Friday night in Charlottesville. We took the opportunity to visit Monticello on Saturday, and then we visited with his aunt and cousins in Richmond on the way home.
Kentucky Family and Horse Racing (4 albums)
April 6th, 2006 -- April 9th, 2006
Gabe and I went to Kentucky to visit his family and experience live horse racing!
Grandpa's 90th Birthday (16 photos)
March 18th, 2006 -- March 19th, 2006
For the first time in years, Mom, Dad, Kristin and I made the trip to Atlanta together. We went to celebrate Grandpa's 90th birthday (which was the following Monday). Dad organized a card shower for Grandpa, and he ended up receiving over 200 birthday cards from all over the country. We all had fun looking through the cards.
Mom and Dad's Apex Visit (25 photos)
January 14th, 2006
Mom, Dad, and Abby came to visit Kristin and Chad in Apex since they were not able to get together at Christmas. Gabe and I went to visit with everyone on Saturday night. The three dogs were insane!
