Weekend in Davidson

Purpose: To visit my parents at their house!
I had not visited my parents at their house in Davidson for a while, so I thought I'd take a weekend to visit with them. They had some new furniture since the last time that I visited, so I wanted to see the new decor!
Gabe and I started out towards Davidson on Saturday morning with a stop for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel near Burlington. We took a detour through Salisbury so that I could show him my old hometown. We saw several "significant" Salisbury sites including my old neighborhood and house. It's always interesting to see the changes in the neighborhood and throughout Salisbury.
We arrived at my parents house, and we got the tour of the house and casita. I didn't take any photos, but they have added a lot of new furniture since my last visit! The house is looking pretty nice!
Mom and Dad took us to dinner at the local Mexican/Latin restaurant, and then we took a quick little tour of Davidson. We got back to the house and played Scrabble and Hearts for several hours.
Mom made her special pancakes in the morning (YUM!), and we headed back to Raleigh. We had a very nice visit, although it was a quick little trip!
